With the current #StayAtHome situation, I have been seeing a lot of people trying out this coffee recipe out so I tried it too!
Dalgona Coffee is a creamy DIY iced-coffee drink that has taken over social media and was said to have started with TikTok. It was said to be inspired by a South Korean sugary toffee candy called dalgona thus its name. Since everyone is encouraged to stay at home due to the ongoing pandemic and we cannot go to our favorite coffee shops whenever we please this can be the perf sub for that!
It is also a perfect coffee drink for those working from home or those who want to pull out some all-nighter watching KDramas. 🤩
Ingredients:
-2 tbsp instant coffee
-2 tbsp granulated sugar
-2 tbsp hot water
-milk of choice
-ice and cute glass?
Directions:
1. Pour all the ingredients except milk in a large bowl
2. Whisk until it becomes frothy/whip cream like consistency. This takes about 8 minutes by hand or 3-4 minutes using a hand mixer.
3. Add ice and milk on a glass and pour the coffee mixture on top.
4. Enjoy!!!
