End of a chapter

Thank you for checking out this blog!

I just want to let you know that My Notebook has now officially come to the end of its chapter. I am really grateful for starting this blog way back until today because it has led me to knowing what I really want to pursue in life which is to keep sharing stories no matter how random they may be.

Feel free to check out my new venture Breaking the Shell. It's the same old fun but on a different name and format.

With that, let's continue to move forward!

All the best,

Tita Tips: How to disinfect your mobile phone

Been out for so long and now I am starting 2020 by sharing with you my updated make-up routine.

Maokong Day Trip: A Tea Lover’s Heaven

TEA lovers would surely love spending their time at the lovely Maokong Village.  The village which used to be the largest tea growing area in Taipei has now become a tourist destination for tea culture.

Taiwan’s Gem: Taipei 101

TAIPEI 101 is Taiwan’s iconic and most visited tourist attraction. Rising to 509 meters, it was hailed as the tallest building in the world from 2004-2010 which makes it one of the country’s gem.

Exploring the Old Streets of Taipei

OLD STREETS are one of Taiwan’s famous tourist attractions as they are famous for showcasing thecountry’s rich history and culinary delights.

Present in almost every town in Taiwan, we also did not miss our chance to visit two of their famous old streets in Taipei: Shifen and Pingxi.

Meteor Garden Fever: Fangirling in Taiwan

MEMORIES of elementary days on one of my favorite TV series were relived back in November as we visited Taiwan. I remembered me and my friends having major crushes on F4’s Dao Ming Si (Jerry Yan), Hua Ze Lei (Vic Zhou), Mei Zuo (Vanness Wu) and Xi Men (Ken Chu); idolizing how Shancai (Barbie Shu) fought back when she got the “red tag”; and just the pure excitement of going home from school just to watch my favorite TV series that time – Meteor Garden.

A fresh start to loving yourself this 2018

SELF LOVE may sound negative as it is directly related to being selfish but that’s not the case here, instead, for this New Year other than spending time taking care of other things than you. I encourage you to include a time to take a step back and take care of yourself too.

Awesome Paws at Pawsome Dog Café

HELLO September!

Backing track a little bit to last month's adventures, my family and I decided to checkout Pawsome Dog Café one weekend. As a family, we seldom go to café’s but we made an exception to this because dogs and puppies are love.

KK Adventures: Touring around the city + travel budget (Part 4 of 4)

SPENDING a few days travelling the mountains, the sea and nearby places, it’s now time to explore the beautiful landmarks and visit the picturesque buildings at Kota Kinabalu’s city center.

KK Adventures: Visiting Labuan: Malaysia’s Duty Free Island (Part 3 of 4)

HAVE you ever tried visiting a place for a very short period of time? Believe it or not but that was the summary of our day three experience.

We initially planned staying overnight at Labuan which is also a popular destination for cheap Duty Free items in Malaysia. But later on we decided to just go there to buy some pasalubongs to bring back home and go for a short sightseeing.

Only the duty free shopping happened and it turned out to be a day of sitting down inside the ferry. (lol!) Still, no regrets!

KK Adventures: Spending a day at Manukan Island (Part 2 of 4)

AFTER our day tour at Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring, for our day two adventure we decided to unwind and soak up some sun at Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park which Kota Kinabalu(KK) is also known for.

Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park is composed of five islands namely Gaya, Sapi, Manukan, Mamutik and Sulug. The marine park was named after Malaysia’s first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman.

KK Adventures: Exploring KPark and Poring Hot Spring (Part 1 of 4)

WITH the help of cheap airfares and a couple of internet research, we have finally rewarded ourselves of a few days off to recharge.

Together with my fave travel buddy, Claudette, we have packed our bags and headed straight to the adventure that awaits us in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Malaysia.

Review Pad: Bioré UV Perfect Bright Face Milk

IF there’s one thing that I have learned from my dermatologist, it is that using sun block especially on your face is not only applicable when going to the beach but everyday as well. The sun’s harmful rays cannot only be found in beaches after all.
Speaking of sun block I have been meaning to try Bioré’s UV Perfect Bright Face Milk for a long time now as it has been praised by a ton of Youtubers. Since it is locally available, I have given it a try and here’s what I think about it.

Day Off Diaries: Conquering Puting Bato - Samal’s Highest Peak

LAST month, my travel buddy and I decided to go for another weekend adventure just right before our busy week began. This time we have chosen some nature tripping and went to a hiking adventure in Samal.

So with a pocket money of P500 pesos we have managed to explore two places in Samal Island plusa bonus of extra experiences gained. Getting curious now? Read on!
